The assault resulted in the partial closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

Two more people have been arrested in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
